Although the lineup was excellent, there were definitely some volume issues last year that need sorting. The sound engineers seemed to have an aversion to Noise especially. The Astro and Cloaks sets were embarrassing quiet. It’s telling that I didn’t have to use my earplugs once the entire weekend.

Autechre would be a serious coup. If they work to their ‘album every second April’ timetable, they should have some new material to put through the mangler.

I missed the ‘Blackest Ever Black’ showcase in Manchester the other week due to the bastard snow, so it would be nice to re-create that lineup… Cut Hands, Regis, Raime and Demdike Stare.
